Beginner Devices
These computers are specially prepared for young children aged 2–10 and are designed to be a safe, educational learning tool in your child’s bedroom or play area. Each device includes GCompris, a trusted educational software suite that teaches early skills such as reading, numbers, memory, and problem-solving.
Devices also include parent-controlled screen-time settings so you can choose exactly when the computer can be used.
Why We Recommend Desktops
We mainly provide desktop computers, and for young children they offer many benefits:
- Larger monitors make learning easier on young eyes
- Faster performance for smoother educational games
- More durable and harder to drop or damage
- Fixed location, ideal for healthy screen-use habits
We also have some laptops available, but they may come without a working battery or with minor issues, so they typically need to stay plugged in. Because of this, desktops provide a much more reliable experience for kids.
- Network: These computers do not connect to the internet by default, ensuring safer use.
